Family Constellation Activities
The Guelph Chapter meets every third Saturday of the month at the Guelph
Youth Music Centre at 75 Cardigan Street in Guelph from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in room 204.
The cost is a donation to cover expenses.
Some members also meet bi-monthly to experiment and continue to learn Family Constellation concepts.

From the beginning of my involvement with Family Constellations, I have been chosen to represent. This was a little scary for me at first, but was also fascinating. The more involved I get, the more I understand how it works. I had a constellation done and my issue was how one of my siblings would talk down to me and make me feel bad about myself. Since then, this has never happened again and much to my surprise, there has also been a shift with my father and his sibling. They had been estranged for several years after the death of their father and now will talk on the phone as well as get together in person. This work amazes me, when I see how the movements reveal the story and the acknowledgments make the shifts. What a wonderful way to hear and honor our ancestors lives, which in turn make our lives so much fuller and richer.

Doing Family Constellation work has given me a new perception of myself, my family, and how parents and grandparents were impacted by those relatives who came before them.
As a result, it’s given me the impetus to complete a hand-pieced quilt honouring my pioneer ancestors begun 15 years ago.

“The family constellation work is very interesting and enlightening. At first I wasn’t sure if this was something I would be interested in, but it was as if I was being "called" to be involved. In my first workshop I was really nervous, I didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t want to participate. I ended up leaving early feeling anxious. Something inside was screaming for me to go back. I did. I remember watching from the circle and being drawn to participate. I had this huge flood of emotion that ran through me and then, something in my life changed. Still to this day, I’m not sure what it was about that constellation that effected me, but I am sure that the work of Bert Hellinger is 100% true and if you are willing to expect the unexpected you will "fall in love" with his work just like I did.
For me this isn’t just an extra activity I enjoy, but a life changing experience that I was "called" to enjoy”.
